Seth Sanders,
DuPRI Director

With the approval of the DuPRI Executive Committee, the director can appoint one or more associate directors. The current DuPRI directors are:
The DuPRI Executive Committee provides oversight for the Institute. This committee sets the overall policy direction of DuPRI, approves all institute-wide initiatives, such as infrastructure and training grants, has authority for selecting and renewing the memberships of all DuPRI research associates and affiliates, and advises the DuPRI leadership team and monitors their performance.
The current DuPRI Executive Committee members are Amar Hamoudi, V. Joseph Hotz, Ken Land, Giovanna Merli, James Moody, Jerome Reiter, Seth Sanders, P.J. Eric Stallard, Duncan Thomas, and James Vaupel. The large size of the Executive Committee enables us to reach out to faculty in areas of strength at Duke, drawing them into DuPRI and encouraging identification with it. It is our intent that the composition of the Executive Committee reflects the diversity of disciplines in DuPRI and includes both younger and more established scientists.
